• Have you spotted an object associated with Chesham in another museum? If so, we would love to know about it. Chiltern Toys had a factory making wooden and other toys in Waterside, Chesham until the outbreak of WWII. This Chiltern Toys bear is in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

Chesham Museum is run by dedicated volunteers. Help us by becoming a Friend of the Museum. Your money will help us collect, display and maintain items from Chesham's social and industrial past.

Friends pay £12.50 (or £10.00 for senior citizens or students) and get 2 free visits and a free copy of our annual newsletter

Join our Super Friend scheme for 12 months and enjoy free admission for a year, our annual newsletter and a 20% discount on our talks and guided walks. Cost: Only £60. Great value!

Become a Lifetime Friend of Chesham Museum for a one-off donation of £500 or £950 for two people at the same address and enjoy unlimited free admission, an annual newsletter and 20% discount on guided walks and talks.

Increase the Value of Your Donation

If you pay income tax you can allow the Museum to reclaim the tax you pay and add this to your donation. You must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the Tax that the Charity reclaims on your donations in the appropriate tax year (currently 28p for each £1 you give).

Be sure to fill out the Gift Aid Declaration on your subscription form and increase the value of your donation/subscription by an extra 25%.
